CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAMS AND COMBINED SERVICES

Our team of skilled professionals, environmental scientists, professional engineers, drafters, environmental auditors, project managers, field personnel, biologists, foresters, wildlife specialists, and GIS specialists seeks to assist clients achieve their goals by transforming concepts into reality while meeting regulatory, community and environmental requirements. This includes front-end project planning, design and regulatory approvals, pre and post-development site assessments, environmental liability assessment and reduction, water supply evaluation and permitting, construction and operations monitoring, and soil and groundwater remediation and reclamation.

PROJECT CONTROLS AND WORKFLOW

West utilizes cloud-based technologies to ensure that projects adhere to budgeted cost and schedule expectations. Favourable project metrics are achieved using West’s ERP, Dynamics 365, and corporate adherence to the waterfall methodology of project management. Realtime reporting eliminates the variability of schedule and cost deviations and enhances the linear workflow when compared against the baseline WBS. Further use of ArcGIS Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office 365 and virtual networks facilitate project continuity and workflow transition no matter the limitations imposed by physical restrictions like extreme weather, global pandemics or natural disasters.

West has a history of technology innovation that includes advancements in machine control, water treatment technologies, robotic total stations, airborne sensing technologies and UAV’s. This has established West as a market leader and has enhanced client operations while greatly reducing the cost of field deployment.
